Who we are

At The Table, we believe that hospitality is about community, that every idea, opportunity, and great conversation begins at the table. Our mission is to celebrate, uplift, and support women in the hospitality industry, creating a space where their voices are heard and their work is recognised.

The hospitality industry thrives on passion, creativity, and resilience—qualities that women bring to the table every day. Yet, despite making up the majority of employees in the UK’s hospitality sector, the third-largest employer in the country, women remain disproportionately represented in leadership roles. They are more likely to hold junior kitchen positions (39%) than be chefs (17%), and they make up less than 40% of restaurant managers. The Table Project exists to change this narrative by fostering community, mentorship, and advocacy.

Through networking events, training sessions, panel talks, and more, we strive to create opportunities for women at all stages of their hospitality careers.
